It was the 1st day of school for us on Monday and I’m thankful I survived. It was a LONNNNG day (for me) and was of coarse, action packed. There’s never a dull moment when you work with some of the kids I work with. Let’s just say some of them make my 2-almost 3 year old temper-tantrum throwing daughter look like a Queen. (And that takes a lot!) Ha!! I can’t go into any detail right now but maybe some day. I could write a book about all the kids. People would never believe what we go through :)
Gracie did Gr-eat! She started off with her new room and new teachers. She was happy as a lark to go. I just love that she loves going to school. She is learning so much and having so much fun. It’s so nice to pick her up and she’s all smiles and full of happiness. That is a complete change from last year. She sleeps good and gets in good play time and learning time too. This isn’t her first day but I actually got her to semi-smile for me. I also used my purse camera because I was taking it to school so not the best quality but o-well.
doesn’t she look so big? she HAS to have brown dog with her at school!
And guess what? She stayed dry all day at school!! She pottied all day like a big girl :) I think we might be getting somewhere. (Closer at least). I’m starting to see the light, it’s faint, but it’s there!!!! She has been saying her bottom hurts again. Today was her last day of meds and I am so hoping she doesn’t get another UTI. Yuck, yuck.
She has a new love, The Berenstain Bears. She LOVES the tv show and the books. Here she is reading a book before school. I think she watched the Berenstain Bears go to the dentist like 100 times!! She loves it!

Glad you survived the first day! I would love to read your tell-all someday :) That's so great that Gracie loves school, and that she stayed dry all day! Send her over, Avery needs some peer pressure :)
