I hope I’m not jinxing myself but Gracie has done SUPER all weekend going potty. She has actually been telling us when she has to go. I was debating whether or not to even try this weekend because of what happened last weekend. (Last weekend we were full out trying until she got a UTI and the Dr. said not to push it anymore.) So on Sat. I just took off her pull ups and let her go. We did have 1 tt accident while I was at the store and one poop accident (yuck) but she did great the WHOLE day. She even stayed dry during her 2 hour nap and pottied right away when she got up.
We were so proud of her and had big celebrations but we’re still not pushing it much. She still has yet to potty out in public so I know that is going to be a big one. Also, since she’ll be back at school tomorrow I’ll probably put her back in pull-ups. It’s promotion week at school so she starts all over (again) with new teachers. At least I know she can do it and can hold it. Yea!! I’m just thrilled she is finally saying she has to go. I think it’s just going to take us throwing/hiding all pull ups (like we did with paci’s) to let her know there is no turning back. For some reason only full out attempts work for her!! I know she is not there but but hopefully at school she’ll keep it up and be off pull ups all the way!!
Here she is before church. It was promotion Sunday at church so she is now in the 2 year old room there too. (Even though she is almost 3!!) She even chose this outfit. I had no crying or tantrums about clothing today. Now that’s big time progress :)
