The Strand for Shopping

Galveston has a super cute downtown area called “The Strand”. GG said we had to go there so we went for a little day trip. The kids wore their matching outfits and looked adorable! Our first stop was the store where their outfits were purchased, Yaga.

Maxum was loving his cool shirt. Gracie and her dress, not so much.

The Strand was such a cute area. Lots of shopping but the cool part was that they’d have a shop with a bar in it too. Kelly thought that was very cool! Guess what else they had?

A store called Gracie’s. Of coarse it was the cutest store ever!!

We found a candy shop “words best taffy” and the kids were in heaven. Gracie got a ring pop and some smarties along with a Mickey Mouse pez. This entertained the kids for awhile :)

Then we had a yummy lunch at the Yaga Cafe. Yaga is big there!

We did lots of shopping. Gracie and Maxum hid in some clothes.

Gracie was plum worn out. We got in the car and she crashed in 5 seconds. She slept for about an hour and a half while we continued shopping. (Kelly happily stayed in the car with her while we continued on!)
