We made it to Galveston on Friday afternoon and it was so much better driving 5 hours than 13 ++. Pop pulled a boat so we followed behind. The only little thing is that about 90 min into our drive a safety harness broke on the boat and the back came open and all the lifejackets came flying out of the back! Kelly had to swerve to miss some. We pulled over but decided it was not worth it to try and get them back! Gracie was good in the car but very ready to get out. By the end she was a little upset and just wanted out! We got to the house before GG/Pop/Papaw so we had a chance to get out and walk around.

and guess what? Gracie couldn’t wait to get in the sand!
Yea!! What a difference a year makes! Last year she would not TOUCH the sand. Now, she loves it!
