I was cleaning out some of Gracie’s clothes that don’t fit and packing them away. I had a bin of old shoes and Gracie discovered some old flip flops, (size 5, she wears a 7) and she will not take them off! Of coarse last summer when they fit she wouldn’t wear them at all. But not now. She wanted to nap in them yesterday. I compromised and let her put them on her dresser to wait for her until she got up. We rode her bike and walked in them yesterday, and she wanted them on first thing this morning. She can only wear closed toed shoes to school so luckily I said “N-O” to that. Here she is after school today….
As soon as we got home she said in a crying voice “I want my flip flops.” So she’s enjoying a snack of cranraisins and milk/oj and her flip flops while watching Dora!
Can you tell she squeezed her foot into them! I will have to find her some that actually fit!!
** I’ve been letting her wear her “2” shirt a lot lately because she only has a few more weeks to actually be that age!! She calls it her Gracie shirt :)

Very cute! I don't know about you, but I'm running out of places to store Lydia's clothes that she has outgrown! I have 3 large containers in her closet, 1 under her bed, 1 under the guest bed, and of course some still hanging in her closet. Luckily, we're about to get into some of them again when Molly arrives!
