We wanted a special place to take Grandma to and continue celebrating Gracie’s bday weekend. When I mentioned the Arboretum Kelly said he wanted to go. We lucked out and got a beautiful morning (plus no Cowboy game) so it was wonderful. I worked all morning getting us a lunch packed and made up. We were excited! I am so glad we took Gracie’s wagon. It was a must there! We got there around 10ish and it was full of people and photographers EVERYWHERE!! The pumpkins were unreal, you have never seen anything like it!
She was not too thrilled for morning pictures as soon as we got there but I couldn’t resist. It was too cute!
We headed to where ALL the people were going, the pumpkin area. So neat!!! Look at that house made of pumpkins :)
The colors and pumpkins were just unbelievable!
There were quite a few people around the pumpkins so we decided to walk on and maybe come back later. We found the really cute deer and Gracie wanted up on him.
I was going crazy with my camera because I hardly get real, natural (not bribed) smiles from her!!
We love this little area by the lake. It is a giant hill so Gracie had fun running up and down with her Daddy.
I’m getting mad at Kelly when we get pictures back because he is NEVER looking at the camera these days. ????
Cheetos snack break! Yum
We walked to the cute frog fountains but she would get out.
LUNCH TIME!
We walked back to the hill and stopped to eat lunch. I made chicken salad sandwiches. I forgot to make Gracie a PB & J so she just ate cheetos, bread, and cookies :)
It was getting time to go and the place was WAY crowded. I was so glad we got there early:) But I wanted to try for a few cute pictures. Gracie actually cooperated :)
When we were taking these pictures all these people were walking by saying “Ahh, she really is the cutest pumpkin in the patch!”
What a fun day we had!! I’m so glad Grandma could be there to share it with us :)
