(This has taken me WAY longer than I ever thought to do! So many pictures to go through and videos and writing thank you notes and enjoying our 3 year old!! More posts to come soon!!)
Gracie got to take over the swings for about 30 minutes. After all, it was her birthday. As long as she was happy, I let her stay. Poor Grandma pushed her over and over and over!!
Finally guests stared arriving and I got busy talking and didn’t get very many pictures. Here are some of the kiddos running around.
Maxum had never been there so I couldn’t get him to stop for a split second.
Sweet Abbie and Carter came all the way from Houston!!!
This is Mr. Schaefer (Aidan). He also went to Miss Lisa’s house. See why Gracie LOVED him? Look how adorable he is!!
Cute Carter (Abbie’s brother). Look at his white hair! He is adorable!!
Precious Maggie!! This girl always smiles!
Sweet, sweet Lily came too. See Gracie? Still swinging. Grandma? Still pushing! I made Gracie get off so poor Lydia could have a turn and she had a huge meltdown!
Look who showed up at the park? The Frisco FD. They were there for a party but the kids had so much fun getting in the truck and seeing the fireman.
GG showed up at this time with all the pizza.
She was not wanting her picture made at this time!
Pizza Time!
Gracie was pouting because she wanted me to sit by her and eat. Did she really think I had time to sit down? I did go stand by her and that made her better.
I finally found something to get Gracie in a better mood, horns!
Cake Time!
We couldn’t keep the candles lit!!!
She wasn’t fond of her bday hat so it only lasted all of 3 seconds!
Eyeing those cupcakes!!
I thought they looked so cute! Loved the pink polka dots.
She was just all about the horn. She wouldn’t stop!!!
Watch!
Happy birthday Video…
Time for a few family pics. I don’t know why I didn’t put the piece of cake down??? I never even realized I was holding one until I saw the pictures!!
Here are a few videos my brother took on my flip camera…
We decided to try and do a group shot…
This was a complete 1st! Abbie was not having it and Gracie (usually the screamer) was smiling!!!
A few more kids came, even sweet Lydia on the end!!
Most kids got off then Maggie and Annie got on.
Then more got on….
But wait, we for got Aidan!!! Here he comes…
Yea… we got him!! And everyone :)
I thought it was pretty cute considering the ages and stages of all the kids :) Gracie would NOT take her horn out of her mouth!!
After this most friends started to leave and I handed out the goodie bags. Note to self. Always make your child a goodie bag. I wasn’t sure about some extra friends getting to come at the last minute so I ended up not having one for Gracie. ( I had one at home..) but that didn’t not please her. She was MAD! GG tried to comfort her but it just did not work!
Luckily, Ali said “Gracie, come open our present!” Yea!!
She loved it! She got a new bling cell phone where she gets to decorate it with rhinestones. She loves it and it was perfect for her to do at that moment! We said goodbye to friends and took a few more pics…
All in all, it was a great, SIMPLE party and it was easy breezy to clean up. We just simply threw all the decorations (paper stuff) away and boxed up left over pizza, cake, and pictures. Yea for simple parties!! I’m doing this EVERY Time :) Gracie was happy and plum pooped on the way home. Grandma had to work very hard to keep her awake so she could nap at home. She did make it and then was happy to open a few gifts. She played for a bit and then slept over 2 hours!!!!
