Even through all the costume drama, Gracie ended up having a really good time trick or treating. All day Sunday I kept encouraging her to wear her cute cape and be Super Gracie. I even made a cape for one of her babies. She just wasn’t into it. GG called and said she had her skeleton pj’s and why didn’t she just wear those. When she heard pj’s she was all for it! Maxum had a costume party to attend early in the evening so we headed to their neighborhood to hang out with Mario and Elmo!
It was really warm out (80’s) so poor Elmo couldn’t wear his Elmo suit. I thought he looked pretty cute in his Elmo shirt and shoes though. Elmo and the pink skeleton got to ride in style…
The kids had a great time looking for candy. Elmo was all about the candy! Mario just wanted to get to the houses first and Skeleton Girl was really shy but enjoyed picking out candy. We got a lot of comments about how sweet she was. Most kids grab the candy and run, not Skeleton Girl. She was content riding in the wagon with Elmo watching all the kids and playing with the flashlight GG bought her!!
We did meet up with Maxum (I’m not quite sure who he was, something from Star Wars??) Skeleton Girl could not get over her Ali all dressed up and in white make up!
Gracie pooped out early!! We kept letting Maxum go ahead because he wanted to full out run to each house! Finally I asked her if she wanted to go home and she said “I wanna go home Mommy.” and then I had to carry her back. She was flat worn out! Kelly stayed with watch the Ranger game with Mario and Elmo’s Dad and Pop and Kirk got to go to the Ranger Game!! On the way home Gracie got a kick out her pj’s because she was glowing in the car. She thought that was very funny!!
We got home and I let her watch 1 show and then it was bed time. She was zonked!
Happy Halloween!!!
