The thing that Kelly has been anxiously awaiting for 3 long years has finally been happening around our house the past few weeks….

Gracie has been playing by herself in her playroom!! Parents with more than one child will think we are crazy I guess but Gracie has always liked to have someone in her playroom while she played. She has finally turned corners and decided it’s fun to play by herself. Kelly let her get out her big hippo tent yesterday and she quickly filled it up and went to playing.

As soon has she walked downstairs she hit up the tent again dragging more and more things in it.

I even served her breakfast in her tent. I feel like I’ve struck gold because Kelly is away teaching Sat. school so I’m able to eat my breakfast in peace and watch the Today Show w/o a little someone at my feet!

She’s gotten really good at blinking for the camera. She does this on purpose. She’ll say “1, 2, 3” with me then she closes her eyes. stinker.

I’m hoping she’ll stay in there until lunch

House Update: Not any new news which stinks. We’ve had back to back showings around here lately so we keep getting our hopes up then get let down. We’ve continued to have people come for 2 showings then we never hear from them again.  We’ve had a total of 42 showings since Nov. 7th. Not bad but not good either because we’re STILL IN THIS HOUSE. I even bought the dumb statue that is supposed to bring you good luck. Well, it hasn’t worked for us yet. I guess we’re the exception to the rule. I have taught Gracie who the statue is (St. Joseph) and she likes to give him a kiss for extra luck before we leave for a showing. We’re ready, we’re done, I am totally over it. SELL OUR HOUSE!
