Beach Baby, Beach Baby

We are having so much fun at the beach! We’ve been eating lots of good, fresh seafood and soaking in lots of rays from the sun! We’ve even seen a few family of dolphins swimming by our house! On Sunday night we had a family photo shoot outside and the pictures turned out awesome! I was the official photographer. I bought a tripod to set up and used the self timer to get group pictures of all of us. (Pictures coming soon!)

GG and to make her beach vacation short and had to fly home to take care of Nana and Papaw. They are not feeling well and are actually in the hospital. We were so sad she had to leave but we are hoping that maybe she can come back in a few days….

Miss Priss is SLOWLY warming up to the sand but she still does not like to touch it. Makes for a great beach vacation when your child screams her head off when a grain of sand touches her precious feet. This is on the balcony of our house. GG got Maxum and Gracie these super cute chairs. Gracie calls them the “woof-woof” chairs!

She does let her Daddy pick her up and dip her in the water. Jelly fish are EVERYWHERE and you can hardly see them until you’ve gotten stung so we are really careful when we have her in the water. Even Maxum has gotten stung a few times.

Sharing a snack in their “wolf-wolf” chairs. She will now sit in her chair on the beach with towels under it so she’s not touching the nasty sand! Day 2 was major progress from Day 1!!

Then I got really brave and I put her in a folding chair on the beach right near the shore with a bucket of water for her to dip her feet into. She liked that for a little bit too! Progress, progress…

Last night we went out to Gulf Shore Steamers to eat some crab legs and shrimp. Yum!

The only gross thing was the shrimp came with their heads on and you had to de-head and de-vein them. Can you say Nasty???

When we got back we headed out on to the beach to watch the sun go down and wait for the crabs to come out.

 

 

It was another fun day but we sure miss our GG!
