In case you were wondering, Gracie had a really good week at her sitter’s house. ( I was worried!) She said she saw a big improvement in her.
I did have to tell her that I think getting a good nap (She doesn’t nap well at her sitter’s house) will probably make a difference too. At home and GG’s house she’ll nap anywhere from 2-3 hours. At the sitters’ 45 min- an hour tops.
In other news, at school Gracie has really been doing great. She hugs her teachers as soon as she gets there. They said she is really coming out of her shell and just sings her little heart out during music time.
She ALWAYS names 2 of her favorite boys; Will and Gavin. She talks about them a lot. She also says she can’t wait to see Miss Mary and Miss Pam!
We’ve been working with her on saying her full name: Gracie Gauger (Elizabeth is too hard to fit in there too!) I’m hoping to catch it on video soon. Tonight it went something like this:
Me: “What’s your name?”
Her: “Gay-cie, name!”
Me: “No, your last name.”
Her: “Gay-cie last name”
Oh, the mind of a 2 year old! She only does something when SHE wants to!!

Good girl, Gracie!!! :)
Shannon, i loved what you posted a couple of days ago about your conversation with her in the grocery store. Cracked me up! ;)
I like her little red top and jeans - very cute! She is so photogenic - you capture the sweetest faces! I'm glad to hear she's behaving herself at school! I bet that nap makes a BIG difference. She's a sweet angel- she's just 2 that's all. They don't know something is wrong until we tell them, right? Oh p.s. Yes, Lydia has a couple taggies toys - the blanket and a rattle thing. She seems to prefer the cheap ones instead!
