Trapped in the House

Well, we’re still here with Gracie having a bad ear infection. She didn’t complain once on Sat. or Sunday about her ear hurting. She didn’t complain at all until Monday morning when we were about to go to Lisa’s house. “My ear hurts Mommy.” I felt so bad dropping her off but she was SO excited to be at Lisa’s house. I picked her up early and back to the Dr. we went. Her left ear did not heal as much as they hoped so another shot she had to get. Another BIG, LONG, shot. I could have cried too. She was screaming so hard, all red and she is a strong little girl! It was an experience I really don’t want to remember… We were sent home with more ear drops and told to stay home with her.

So, we’re here trapped because it’s too cold out. Like really, really cold. Like we had 65 something on Sunday and now it’s supposed to snow again.

So, we’re just sitting her playing with Play-dough. I have to say, somewhere in the past few weeks she has FINALLY picked up on saying ‘ please’ and ‘thank you’ without being prompted as much. Just this morning she said “apple sauce Mommy, please?” and then “Oh, thank you Mommy, thank you” when we got out the play dough.

March, where are you? We need a new, fresh start!
