Our New Baby

 

Did you know we have a new baby at our house?

Well, we do.

She has brown hair, hazel eyes, and weighs in right at 29 pounds!

Yes, our new baby is Gracie.

She has the attachment/issue with her old baby stuff. She goes crazy when she finds it. Our extra bedroom/office is full of her baby stuff; her crib, high chair, old strollers. We have to keep the door closed because when opened she screams  cries that she needs it and wants it. (Especially her old high chair that we put away over a year ago!)

But the play mat, it is her very favorite. It started off innocent by her only putting babies under it but then she decided she needed to be under it too. And I can’t get her to come out sometimes. She’ll grab her ankles just like a baby and play with the toys on top. I made the mistake once and said “Oh, what a cute baby. Are you ready for your bottle, baby?” And she said “Yes, I need a bottle.”    What have I done???
