I know my last post was about a new baby but we really do have a new baby in the house now. A new baby for Gracie that is! Kelly played golf all morning with a friend the other day so Gracie and I had a Mommy/Gracie day. I just had a lot of running around to do so nothing much but it isn’t always easy shopping with her. She gets bored or sees things she wants or she wants down out of the cart. She was just being so, so good so I rewarded her with a new baby. We were in Target and I just couldn’t resist. She spotted this little baby from a mile away. I told her she could have her since she has been such a good little girl all day. You would have thought I gave her a million dollars. It was the sweetest thing. She said “Mommy, thank you. Thank you, Mommy!” And she gave her a big kiss, right still in the box! After Target I had a few more stores to go to and she just held onto her baby (still in the box) the whole time saying “I love you baby. So pretty baby. Baby’s hat! Baby’s shoes!”

*On a side note I’d just like to say that I am SO glad Grandma and Grandpa came last weekend instead of this weekend. It is actually snowing here. It was in the 70’s here yesterday and now snow. It’s not sticking or anything but crazy weather!!! Happy first day of spring!
