We left Columbus around 10:30 on Sunday morning. We drove to Omaha and stayed with a friend of Kelly's that has twin 18 mth old boys. I didn't take any pictures but let me just tell you how busy the boys are. My heart goes out to all you twin momma's out there, especially boys. OMG. Seriously, it was only quiet while they were asleep :) Gracie loved playing with them. She especially loved walking around behind them and picking up their paci's and giving them back to them. She helped give them a bath too. I think if we could have stayed a little more she would really learn to toughen up. Every 2 seconds the boys were taking something from her and she would just pout and look at me like "Do something!!" They were very sweet that's just how they play!
We stayed overnight and the next morning she woke up saying "I reddy to go to my house, where da' boys?" We had a great time visiting with them and had fun watching the kids play :)
Here are a few extra pictures from our stay in Nebraska.
I can't tell how much fun Gracie had with her little cousins. She said "I love Easton and Mati." So cute!! She gave Grandma lots of hugs and kisses. She even said to Grandma "You kiss me too much, Grandma!!" We had a great visit and enjoyed our time with family. We missed Uncle Matt and Uncle Mitch though :)
The way home she was good again. She had a few whinny moments because she was just ready to get home. She knew we were going home but she couldn't figure out why it was taking so long!! I was very glad for her Harold the Purple Crayon dvd's. She watched them the whole drive off and on. She only slept about 45 minutes. I read a Mary Higgens Clark book and it was nice to read and finish a book on the drive home.
And after hours and hours, and hours we saw this sign....
And then we only had about 45 minutes left, Yea!!! It was so nice to be home safe and sound :)
