On Saturday Gracie woke up early. She wanted her juice and to watch Clifford. Unfortunately Clifford was not on so she compromised with Mickey Mouse old school cartoons. Gracie loved playing babies with Auntie Amber. . A very cute thing Gracie said to Auntie Amber; they were playing and Barbie was on a little dish. Gracie said "That's you!" to Amber. So cute!! Grandma Sawyer, Grandma, and I went to Walmart real quick to pick up some pictures I ordered. The Grandmas loved taking Gracie down the baby doll isle and she wanted every last one of them!! Grandma also let her hang on the cart and she wheeled her around.
She had these 2 Grandmas wrapped around her little fingers!!!!
After our lunch, Grandma Sawyer, Grandma, Amber, and I took Gracie and Easton back to the water park. We got there right when it opened and it was great! Matison was going to take a nap so she missed out on the fun. It was very hot that day so we really didn't stay too long. I didn't take as many pictures either.
Sadly that is all the pictures I took that day at the park :(
Gracie and Easton were both tired from all the swimming so they ended up both taking great naps! Gracie slept about 2 1/2 hours again so it was wonderful! All week while she was napping I worked on a blog book from Jan-June 2009 and I finished! Horray! It's around 200 pages so very time consuming but so worth it. I will show it off when it comes in the mail.
After good naps we had yummy hamburgers and good Nebraska corn on the cob. The fair was in town for the weekend so after dinner we headed out there. It was soooo hot.
First all the kids rode the carousel together, fun!
Next we went and saw the animals. OMG, Hot doesn't even describe it. We were all soaked with sweat! I had sweat pouring down my back, yuck!! We saw pigs, horses, chickens, cows, and rabbits.
Then we went to visit the horses. I was petting a horse with Gracie so I missed it but this horse was sticking his head out of his stall and totally went all the way down eye to eye with poor Easton and Mati. I didn't get to see it but apparently Mati's eyes were about to pop out of her head! Poor girl!! Talk about scaring a poor kid!! Luckily he was a friendly horse!!
Around this time Gracie said " I don't want to see any more horses or cows." It was just so hot in the animal areas.
