Beach House Fun

We sure were spoiled in a beautiful beach house this year. It was so pretty. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. It even had an elevator. Of coarse it was broken until Wednesday afternoon. The kids loved playing together and sitting together.

GG brought some fun lacing animals. All three ‘kids’ loved these.

We loved eating outside. Not a bad view!!

This was breakfast one morning. The same day Abbie came, Maxum had a friend come. I thought this was cute of all 3 watching the waves.

Thank goodness for portable DVD players. This kept Gracie and Maxum entertained!! GG bought their cute beach mats only they used them to lay on while watching their shows.

Every night/day we had pelicans flying over us on their way to nest or to eat. It was so much fun watching them. Pop and Gracie also flew kites.

 

GG bought an inflatable boat for the kids. Gracie thought it was a fun place to color one day!

We ate very good. We had a menu and we each took turns cooking dinners/breakfasts. This was one of our favorites, boiled shrimp with corn and potoatoes. Yum!

This was an appetizer of Pop’s. Grilled shrimp wrapped in peppers and bacon. Very Good!!

Maxum brought Candyland for Gracie to play. She tried to get everyone to play with her.

There really wasn’t a bad seat in the entire house!

This is at the kitchen table. (Where we ate most meals). It was attached to the living room so it had huge windows where we could see straight out to the water.

  On this night we were out looking at stars. It was so beautiful out. Some of my family members stayed up until after midnight and drank way too much wine. Some of us went to bed early because we always had a 6:00 wake up call!

Gracie’s favorite thing the entire week? A flashlight. She loved it so much she tried using it all day during the day. Why is always the little things kids like best?
