Kids that is….
We got to watch Maxum for a morning while poor Alison is recovering from knee surgery. Gracie was thrilled to have Maxum over at her house. She loved riding in the car with him too :)
I was a very bad good Aunnie/Mommy and took the kids for donuts. Who doesn’t love a few donuts on a Saturday morning? Well, I can tell you who does. These guys!!
Let’s just say I saw what a little (or lot) of sugar can do to a 5 year old boy, wow!!! Of coarse the donuts and donut holes were topped off with real apple juice but who is really asking???
I did learn that putting 2 into car seats is not easy. Especially when you’re trying to watch out for other cars, it’s like 100+ degrees out and buckling/snapping in seatbelts is hard work!!
We ran a few errands and Maxum is a very good car rider. He actually talks non-stop. I was used to my quiet little cookie :) I don’ t know what was going on back there but something was funny.
(in the drive through line at Walgreens)
On our way home we saw the McKinney High Band putting on a random show in the middle of the street followed by police on motorcycles. I pulled the car over and we hopped out to watch. IT lasted all of 2 minutes so then I was stuck buckling/snapping in seats again! Home was our next stop.
The kids played and played. Gracie did have a hard time sharing her things. IT’s funny when someone else has something you haven’t touched for months it all the sudden is the thing you cannot live without?? That happened to her a lot. I had to remind her Maxum was our guest and she had to SHARE!
I fixed a pizza lunch followed by Diego and frozen go-gurt. Thank goodness for Diego :)
These 2, they are so cute. Even Maxum said “Aunnie, take our picture!!”
Love it!!
We can’t wait for Maxum to come over again so Gracie can practice sharing :)
