We played and played and played at new splash pads/parksWhy is it that summer goes by SOOOOO fast? It feels like I was just writing about getting out of school. Boo. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at home Mommy run for the past 6+ weeks. It isn’t an easy gig that’s for sure. My girl is always wanting to be moving so we stayed busy bees. Here is a quick recap of our fun, fun summer!Swimming Lessons- Gracie was introduced to swimmy school. It was very fun and she really learned a lot!
We helped this guy celebrate the big 5!
With our July not being so hot we had a lot of time to play outside:
We visited family in Nebraska and played with cousins!
Gracie’s Daddy and I celebrated 6 years of marital bliss and spent a night away!
Gracie saw her first movie and we saw another one too; toy story 3 and ice age 3
We had lots of fun playing and our little girl just seemed to light up sometimes!
Lots of fun swimming time with Gracie’s favorite 5 year old.
Gracie and I spent lots of quality time together and made lots of mud pies!
I started my photo biz and had a few fun photo shoots. I even have a few scheduled for the Fall :)
We had several fun play dates with friends. I wish we could have seen and played more though!
And finally, ending our summer break we made lots of memories ‘sand’ style.
It sure was fun while it lasted. I could cry right now thinking about how things are going to drastically change around here. I like the sleep-in, watch cartoons in bed- kind of mornings we’ve had.
Somehow we will get through the first rough days and get into a routine. At least we had and made lots of fun memories to think back to.
So long summer of 2010!!
