One Week Away…

In just one short week little Gracie will be 3 and she knows it….

The count down is on and this is officially her birthday week!! Earlier she said to me “It’s my Birthday, not yours.” Ouch. I told her NOT to say that at school :)
We had a big washed out neighborhood yard sale this weekend and it was a bust. I worked for weeks getting stuff ready and woke up to pouring rain. Bummer. We still had stuff out but it wasn’t the same. I was so hoping it to slim down on some our stuff. After 6 years of piling stuff in; it’s time to let to! Gracie had a hard time letting her stuff go so luckily GG kept her for a few hours while we got soaked in the rain. Kelly was driving all over the place to get Pop’s tent, then got a flat tire. It was just not our day. All I have to say is that it better not be raining next Saturday!!!
Tonight I started getting her goodie bags ready for next weekend. There’s no telling what will end up in the bags considering she was ‘helping’ me.

Gracie’s got a cold coming on with a bad cough. There have been so many kids at her school hacking and I just hope she can not get it too bad. She’s been waking up at all hours at night and that leaves me with hardly any sleep at all. It has not been fun. This morning she was in our bed around 5 and neither me or Kelly heard her come in. Who knows what time she crawled in. Stinker.
