Weekend Fun

I’m behind and never got this posted, oops :)

A few weeks ago we went to visit Papaw and eat lunch. Kirk, Alison, and Maxum even came over too. It was such a beautiful day we even ate lunch outside.

Look what cutie is sporting some new frames…

We think Maxum looks so cute! The bad part is that he looks so much older now :( Gracie liked them too. I could not get the girl to get her hands out of her mouth.

A week or so after this, poor Papaw took a bad fall and broke his hip. He had to have surgery and stay in the hospital for over a week. He is now back at his home but in the rehab part. We are all hoping for a quick recovery :)

 

 

Gracie found some dress up stuff GG bought at a garage sale a long time ago. She insisted on wearing it. All of it.

She loved it! Then she insisted on wearing all the gear out to dinner that night. Ham! Everything was great until she pulled a little too hard on the lovely pearls and 10,000 pearl beads went flying all over the place.

On Sunday we went to teach Sunday school with GG at church. GG teaches 3 year olds (turning 4) so it was interesting to see what Gracie might be doing in a year. She has a lot to learn :)  After SS we hurried to Papaw’s to pick him up and take him to his church. His church was dedicating some new bibles in memory of Nana. It was a sweet service and everyone in there was so happy to see Papaw! Gracie did great through church. (Except when she would lean over to me and say “SHHHHHH” with her finger to her lips really loudly. ) She even did communion and she loved the grape juice. After church we were starved so we went to Pei Wei’s for lunch for yummy lettuce wraps. Gracie had noodles (we called it spaghetti so she’d eat it) and slurped it all right up. GG for some strange reason gave the girl some chop sticks as we were leaving. Big mistake!

Yea for Fun weekends. We LIVE for the weekends around here :)
