Gracie is feeling sick today. I stayed home with her because she coughed all night long and was running a fever this morning. No fun at all. I was so sad she missed her Valentine party at school. We ended up having a showing at our house this am so I took her out for a donut party to make up for it. She chose a sprinkled donut and was happy!
Other than that we hung around the house and even played outside. It’s in the 70’s and really nice. We have had a lot of traffic in our house recently so we are keeping our fingers crossed we get something soon because this is about to drive me insane!! We’ve actually had 5 showings in the past 7 days with great feedback. If you’ve ever had your house on the market with kids and pets around then you know how hard it is. It is just the biggest pain ever and I will be so ready for it to be OVER!
This was yesterday; it was so nice out that Kelly and Gracie enjoyed some lunch outside.
I know she doesn’t look sick but it’s amazing how fast things can change.

The breathing treatments are helping so that’s good. She’s started running a fever again this afternoon after her big 30 minute nap. 30 minutes is all I got from her when we had both been up since 4:30. I was not happy. Her Daddy will be staying home with her tomorrow so she can get well. Kelly and I celebrated a kid free dinner on Saturday night with yummy Carraba’s so we’re keeping things low tonight. Take and bake pizza and Gracie and I may or may not have dipped some strawberries in chocolate for dessert. YUM!

Oh no! There is some really nasty stuff going around. I'm sorry Gracie is sick! I hope she's better soon!
(And, I can totally relate to the 30 minute nap. . .on a day when I decide to try to take a nap, Cora will only sleep for a little while or not at all! It's like they know we're trying to sleep, too!!)
I have totally been there with having our house on the market with two small kids. It SUCKS!! Praying you get an offer soon! Hope Gracie feels better :)
you know, the donut is what cured her! ha!! My son will perk up any day for a bag of donut holes!!! Hope all is better now!!
