Parks, Shopping, & Family Water Fun

Nebraska Day 2

Friday morning I woke up to Gracie again nose to nose with me saying "I'm up Mommy!" Why does she come to my side??? It was a little before 7 so we let her come into bed with us and watch Diego on the mini dvd player. After a little breakfast Kelly and Grandpa went to play golf so Grandma, Gracie, and I went to a park. We were the only ones there so that is always fun!

I thought this was so cute of Gracie and Grandma. I was very lucky that second!

She and Grandma went up and down the slides, did the swings and then we were ready to go. It was starting to get pretty warm already so we did a little shopping. She was very good thanks to a secret stash of Skittles I had in my purse!!! (whatever works, right???)

We had lunch together then played at Grandma's house for a bit then later she went down for nap. We had a lot of Kelly's family coming in town that afternoon so I was so glad she took a good nap (2 1/2 hours) When she woke up she had a lot of people there!! Grandma and Grandpa Sawyer drove in from Minnesota, and Auntie Dana came with cousins Easton and Matison. Gracie was her shy self at first but with the help of a kiddie pool and me letting her swim in clothes she started opening up! At first she just watched her 2 cousins at work;

Then Grandma and Grandma Sawyer got involved in the water too :)

 Grandma actually got in the kiddie pool with the kids. She will do anything for her grandkids!!

The kids had so much fun. You should have seen their pull ups after this water fun. They were just soaked. Gracie's actually came apart at the beads inside the pull up was busting out of it! Grandma cooked a good dinner and even Auntie Amber came in from South Dakota. We all ate then took the cousins outside for some photos. Look at this. Their very first photo together way back in May of 2009 at Amber's wedding.

Now here they are at present day, all grown up!!

Kelly joined us outside to help with the kids. Who knows what the heck he was doing behind me to get the kids to smile but he did something really fun. Gracie was pointing saying "look at my daddy!" then Easton joined in too. It was so cute!!

This is one of my favorites. Sorry Mati wasn't in it. She was actually in it but she was looking the other way. I just think it is so, so cute of Easton and Gracie!!

This is the one that everyone liked of the 3 of them. It was really hot out so they were in the shade and so it made for a bad lighting on the picture. That's why I made it black and white but I think it's still cute.

I thought this was cute of Easton and Matison. The dog next door was going CRAZY so G was a little pre-occupied with that so I cut her out of this one!!

Easton and Gracie was just hamming it up!!

And one where they are all 3 looking but just tired of smiling!!

We let the kids get up and guess what they did?????

Look at her! She's like, ha, ha what are you going to do about it? What did we do? We let them play in the water for the rest of the night. Look at these 2!

 Grandma even got back in the water with them to join in on the fun. Grandpa and Kelly started getting in water gun fights too and the kids thought that was so funny.
