SNOW day!

We were totally blown away to have so much snow. We got over 6 inches on top of the ice we already had. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. You couldn’t find anything but storm coverage on the tv (with some super bowl stuff mixed in too!). After breakfast we bundled up and went to play. It is such a pretty snow this time. It’s a VERY dry snow so snowmen are not easy to make but it’s just beautiful!

Look at our ‘for sale’ sign. You could hardly see it! We got so much snow that you couldn’t tell where the yard stopped and road started. It was CRAZY!

Gracie wouldn’t stop eating it. She just loves eating snow.

Definitely could have used a snow blower. No one has those around here. Most don’t even have shovels Smile We don’t!

Look where the snow came to her. It covered up her boots! All of my snow pictures are running together now!! We had a pretty relaxed day today and just played around the house and outside every few hours. Jack loves the snow too but poor guy, he has slipped a lot. It’s still solid ice under all the snow so it’s deceiving. We did go out tonight and picked up dinner to go. I said I wasn’t cooking anything and we needed to see the world again. Gracie just had so much fun and even tonight before bed asked if we could play in the snow tomorrow. Tomorrow and Sunday call for partly sunny skies and we’re finally going to get out of the 20’s. The crazy thing is the weather people are calling for more snow next week. We’ll see!!!

Gracie has done so good all things considered. We’ve NEVER been trapped in our house this long. She’s had meltdowns and a few timeouts but that’s understandable. I’m sure she’s tired of us too! Kelly has been thrilled to have so much super bowl stuff on tv he said it wasn’t a bad week to be out of school. I’ve been keeping busy too cleaning out some closets and getting bags to goodwill ready. You’ve got to do something or you’ll go insane!
